Islamabad: China and Pakistan plan to set up a corporation to build nuclear and coal-based power plants, and Beijing has agreed to expedite the delivery of six atomic power plants of 300 MW each to its strategic ally. The decision to form the China-Pakistan Power Plant Corporation was made during President Musharraf’s April visit to China. China also promised to help Pakistan achieve its target of 8,800 MW of nuclear power by 2030. (PTI)

‘No change in PML-Q leadership’
Islamabad: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has ruled out any change in the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) leadership, reports our Pakistan correspondent.
Mr Hussain, who heads the PML(Q), said, "No change is being made in the party leadership and the party is also not considering any such plan." He vowed to expose those who wanted to create differences among the party ranks.
